Welcome To Thirsk White Horse Swim Team

Thirsk White Horse Swim Team (TWHST) was established in January 1999 following the merger of Hambleton Swim Squad and Thirsk Amateur Swimming Club.

Today, we are a welcoming and ambitious club with over 120 members, ranging from young swimmers taking their first steps in competitive swimming through to masters athletes. Based at Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure Centre, we provide opportunities for swimmers of all ages and abilities to develop their skills, achieve their goals and enjoy being part of a supportive team environment.

Our experienced coaching team delivers high-quality training programmes designed to help swimmers progress from grassroots participation to success at league, county, regional and national level.

Thirsk White Horse Swim Team is proud to hold SwimMark Essential Accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to providing a safe, sustainable and high-quality swimming environment in line with Swim England standards.
